Your child's Chinese books,
reading themselves, character by character
Your child speaks Chinese at home but can't quite read a whole book yet — and you don't have time to sit through every page.Snap a photo of a textbook page, or paste the text. It becomes a read-along book where every character lights up and reads itself aloud — 15 minutes of independent Chinese a day, no parent required.
Three steps from “can't read it” to “can't put it down”
The Library needs zero setup — open and read. Your own books: build once, read all term.
Original graded stories in the Library are sorted by reading level and always free. For your child's own textbook or picture book, snap a page (or paste the text).
Sentences are split, every character gets pinyin, and read-aloud audio is generated. Spot a wrong pinyin? Long-press to fix it.
Tap any character to restart from there; slow down or loop a tricky line. When the book ends: confetti — no scores, no streaks.
Not another flashcard app
It doesn't teach new characters or rank anyone — it turns what your child can already say into something they can actually read.
Chinese has no spaces, so kids who know the characters still can't break sentences apart. The moving highlight is a built-in sentence breaker.
Slow it down to follow along, keep 1× to consolidate, speed up for a challenge — switching never restarts the audio.
Stuck on a line? Loop just that one. Double-tap the line to toggle — no digging through menus.
Pinyin sits above each character, proofread by hand following textbook conventions. Turn it off to stretch reading skills.
Snap a page or paste text — minutes later it's a self-reading book on your child's shelf.
See a mislabelled pinyin? Long-press the character to correct it. Your fix is remembered across every book.
Three honest promises to parents
1. Progress is yours alone: sessions, minutes and tricky sounds this week. Your child sees no scores, no rankings, no streaks.
2. Library content is free forever, all original stories and public-domain poems — we never distribute textbooks, and your uploads stay yours.
3. Kids are never account holders: we don't collect children's names, photos or recordings. Sign-in uses a parent email only.
