Paste or type Chinese text here…
A plain converter hands you a wall of pinyin text. This one lays text out like a textbook — pinyin above each character, tap any character to hear it — so the annotation turns straight into read-along practice.
Create a book where every character lights up and reads itself — the Library is free, and you get 3 self-made books a month free.

How do I add pinyin to Chinese text?
Paste the Chinese into the box above — pinyin appears above every character automatically. Tap “Copy with pinyin” to get the text as 汉字(pīnyīn)pairs.
Can I convert a whole story and hear it read aloud?
Yes. Paste it and tap Read aloud — the reader goes line by line and highlights the character being spoken. To save it as your child's own read-along book, use “Create a read-along book free” at the bottom.
Does it work for simplified and traditional characters?
Simplified Chinese is fully supported today. Traditional text is mostly annotated correctly but not yet proofread against a traditional-character lexicon — full support is coming.
Is it free for teachers and parents?
Free, no sign-up, unlimited. You only need a parent account to save books to your child's shelf and sync them across devices (3 self-made books free each month).
